James Burn

James Burn, Partner, Brand Active, has a business and branding background and has worked for international and global clients on both sides of the Atlantic for over 20 years. As previous CEO of one of Canada’s top branding consultancies he was responsible for many substantial branding and re-branding projects in North America, and for several years he led his agency’s team as global brand partner for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Harvey Weisfeld

Harvey Weisfeld, founder wiserSolutions, has over 25 years of starting and running cutting-edge, mission-based businesses in the food service, import & wholesale, clothing, and home furnishings industries. For the past five years he has been consulting and coaching business leaders & working with social enterprises in areas including holistic health products and services, food, and fashion using a holistic systems approach. Harvey has completed the Holistic Experiential Psychotherapy certification.

Paul Grof

Paul Grof, M.D., PhD, FRCPC, became specialized in psychiatry in 1962. He worked as a research psychiatrist in the Psychiatric Research Institute in Prague, and as a fellow in psychoendocrinology of affective disorders in West Germany. In 1968 he was recruited as research psychiatrist and faculty member at McMaster University, Canada. From 1974 - 77 he helped develop and run Affective Disorder Clinics at the Sunnybrook Medical Center, University of Toronto, and several other Canadian universities. Dr.

Thomas R. Verny

Thomas R. Verny, MD, D. Psych., DHL, FRCPC, is a psychiatrist, writer, lecturer and academic, presently on the faculty of The Santa Barbara Graduate Institute. He has previously taught at Harvard University, University of Toronto, York University, Toronto and St. Mary’s University, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was director of the Psychiatric In-Patient Service of the Toronto East General Hospital, of the EGO Programme at York University and founder of The Center for Psychotherapy and Education in Toronto.

Michael Moon

Michael Moon is an award winning composer, musician and performer from Toronto Canada. For the past 20 years he has researched and specialized in the power sound has to heal and transform. Michael's 6 CDs are used widely for meditation, yoga, massage, relaxation, and healing sessions. Michael has studied many healing modalities and currently works as a sound healer, astrologer, photographer and workshop facilitator while continuing his career as an international recording and performing artist. He is a founding member of the Canadian Association of Sound Practitioners.

Susanna Hood

Susanna Hood, Artistic Director of her interdisciplinary performance company hum (www.humdansoundart.ca), is a compelling and virtuosic performer in dance and music. She began her career as a member of the Toronto Dance Theatre from 1991 through 1995.

Tina Lopes

Tina Lopes is an organizational development consultant, facilitator and mediator, skilled in promoting organizational change processes. Since 1990, she has maintained a broad practice, collaborating with people who want to change the systems, structures, policies and cultures of their organizations. Working with governments, community agencies, human service organizations, unions and agencies serving women, Tina develops processes for organizational change, conflict mediation and human rights policies.

Constantin von Flotow

Constantin von Flotow (Hon. BA , Philosophy/English Literature, 1994) is a wilderness and personal empowerment guide and instructor with over twenty years of experience, including over 10,000 hours of field time, throughout the Americas and Europe, focused on water based expeditions. He holds certifications in wilderness first aid, white water rescue, rope rescue and mountaineering systems. He has extensive experience with youth and youth at risk, in addition to working with adult professionals.

Mary Pearson

Mary Pearson is president of Pearson and Associates Incorporated. She has been a management consultant for almost 30 years, with extensive experience in organization development, governance, strategic planning, leadership effectiveness, organizational mergers, program reviews, policy and large-scale organizational and culture changes. Ms. Pearson is an acknowledged expert on organizational effectiveness. Her articles have appeared in leading Canadian publications such as the Globe and Mail, the National Post and in periodicals internationally.
