Kanae Kinoshita

Kanae Kinoshita, MA, is a Spiritual Care Professional/Chaplain in General Internal Medicine/Emergency, TGH.  She joined UHN after working at Bridgepoint Health and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.  Kanae is deeply involved in initiatives which support spiritual care for the health care professional; that promote inter-professional education and person-centred care; that broaden understandings of death; and demonstrate the value of spirituality to positively impact health and well-being.  Kanae facilitates volunteer training in spirituality with several Toronto hospices, and offers workshops on exploring end of life.  She co-wrote a book, Reflections of the Moon on Water: Healing Women’s Bodies through Traditional Chinese Wisdom, published by Random House in 2006.
